Instructions
- Warm the almond milk to 110°F and sprinkle the yeast on top; let sit for a minute.
- Whisk in melted butter, sugar, and eggs until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix bread flour and salt; slowly add to the milk mixture and stir until mostly combined.
- Knead the dough by hand for 5 minutes on a floured surface until slightly sticky.
- Form the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl; cover and let rise in a warm spot for 90 minutes.
- For the filling, melt butter in a saucepan, then add apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar; simmer for 10 minutes.
- Mix remaining butter, sugar, and cinnamon for the inside of the dough.
- Once risen, roll the dough into a rectangle and spread the cinnamon mixture on top, leaving a 1-inch gap.
- Add the apple mixture on top of the cinnamon mixture and roll tightly.
- Cut the rolled dough into 9 rolls and place in a greased baking dish; let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until slightly golden.
- Prepare the frosting by blending all frosting ingredients together.
- Frost the rolls while warm or let them cool before frosting.
