Caramel Apples
Ingredients
The caramel

agave nectar or honey

heavy cream

celtic sea salt
For dipping
Instructions
- Heat agave in a saucepan until tiny bubbles form around the edges.
- Continue heating agave for 5 minutes to reduce water content.
- Add heavy cream and salt, then bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce heat to a simmer and continue simmering for 7-10 minutes until the caramel reaches a darker nutty color.
- Remove from heat and place the saucepan in a bowl of ice water to cool and thicken the caramel.
- Serve apple slices with individual ramekins of caramel for dipping.
