Ingredients

The potatoes

  • 2 pounds Russet potatoes

The seasoning

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut each potato into wedges and soak them in hot water for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain and pat the potatoes dry, then place them on the baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Toss to coat the potatoes evenly and arrange them in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, then flip the wedges and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Sprinkle with parsley if desired and serve hot.
