Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a half sheet pan with parchment paper, lightly greased.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Mix in the egg, egg yolk, vanilla, and optional lemon zest.
- Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, mixing until combined.
- Press the dough into a rectangle shape in the center of the pan.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until just baked, then let the crust cool completely.
- For the frosting, beat the butter and cream cheese until smooth, then add sour cream and vanilla.
- Mix in the powdered sugar and a pinch of salt until fluffy.
- Spread the frosting evenly on the cooled sugar cookie crust.
- Arrange the fruit on top and chill until serving.
