Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease an 8-inch cake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Add the wet ingredients and whisk until a thick batter forms.
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
- Once cooled, frost the cake with caramel sauce and optionally sprinkle with salt.
