Sesame Ginger Pork Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha or gochujang
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and minced
  • ¾ teaspoon coarse salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a baking sheet with a wire rack.
  2. Mix all meatball ingredients thoroughly in a bowl.
  3. Form the mixture into 2-inch meatballs and place them on the wire rack, spaced about an inch apart.
  4. Bake for 15-18 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  5. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
