Ingredients

The base

  • 5 ½ cups crisp rice cereal
  • ¼ cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1 10-ounce bag mini marshmallows

The chocolate topping

  • 2 XL Hershey’s dark chocolate bars

Instructions

  1. Butter a 9x13 dish and set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven to low-broil and position the rack near the top.
  3. Spread marshmallows on lightly greased baking sheets and place under the broiler, watching closely until dark brown.
  4. In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt the butter and add the toasted marshmallows, stirring until melted and combined.
  5. Stir in the graham cracker crumbs and most of the rice cereal, then transfer the mixture to the buttered baking dish.
  6. After a few minutes of cooling, press the chocolate bars into the top of the rice krispies.
  7. Cut into about 15 squares and serve immediately.
