Baked Feta

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Feta cheese block
  • 2 cups Cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 large Red bell pepper (cut into thick strips)
  • 1 large Yellow bell pepper (cut into thick strips)
  • ½ cup Kalamata olives (pitted)
  • ¼ cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (peeled and crushed)
  • ¼ cup Basil leaves (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • ½ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
  2. 2. Place tomatoes, bell peppers, olive oil, garlic, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper in a baking dish and toss to coat.
  3. 3. Make a space in the middle and place the feta in the center.
  4. 4. Bake for 20 minutes.
  5. 5. Increase the heat to 400°F (204°C) and bake for an additional 3 minutes until the feta is lightly browned.
