Ingredients

Salad Ingredients

  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped or shredded
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded (or coleslaw mix)
  • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cup bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 6 oz deli meat (turkey, ham, and salami recommended)
  • 2 slices provolone cheese, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup banana peppers

Grinder Salad Dressing Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp mayo
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese
  • 1 small clove fresh garlic, super finely minced
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 pinch salt (more to taste)
  • 1 pinch black pepper (more to taste)

Instructions

  1. Make the dressing by whisking all dressing ingredients together until fully emulsified, or shake in a mason jar.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the lettuce, cabbage mix, red onion, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, deli meats, cheese, and banana peppers.
  3. Add the dressing to the salad and toss thoroughly to mix. Serve with Italian bread or chips.
