Chimichurri Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup parsley, packed
  • ½ cup cilantro, packed
  • 3 tbsp chives
  • 1 unit shallot
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ¼ cup white wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. If using a food processor, place all ingredients in the processor and pulse to a semi-smooth consistency.
  2. If using a knife, chop parsley, cilantro, chives, shallot, and garlic, then combine in a medium bowl.
  3. Add salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil to the bowl and mix well.
  4. Serve immediately, use as a marinade, or store in a jar for later.
