Instructions
- Mash the bananas until smooth.
- Whisk in the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and melted butter until combined.
- Add the baking soda and salt, mixing well.
- Fold in the flour until just combined.
- Add the chocolate chunks and walnuts, folding them into the dough.
- Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Scoop the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
