Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, wheat germ, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl or stand mixer, beat the butter until fluffy, then mix in the sugar until thick and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in the vanilla.
- Gradually add the flour mixture in two increments, mixing gently between each addition.
- Fold in the banana chips, chocolate chips, and walnuts until evenly distributed.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 7-8 minutes until barely golden, then cool on racks.
