The Green Tahini Sauce

lemon juice

olive oil

fresh herbs (cilantro, Italian parsley, dill or basil)

jalapeno (optional)

tahini paste
Instructions
- Mix ground meat, salt, and spices in a bowl.
- Add onion, garlic, and herbs, mixing well.
- Knead the mixture with wet hands and form into 12 meatballs.
- Optional: Coat meatballs with sesame seeds or zaatar.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and pan-sear the meatballs until golden.
- Lower heat and cook through or finish in a 350°F oven.
- Prepare the Green Tahini Sauce by blending all ingredients except tahini until combined.
- Add tahini paste and blend until creamy, adjusting seasoning as needed.
- Serve the meatballs over the Green Tahini Sauce with a side salad.
