Ingredients

The dip

  • cups shredded traditional rotisserie chicken
  • pinch pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup buffalo / hot sauce
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • ¼ cup creamy ranch dressing
  • cup sour cream
  • 2 oz freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese

Optional toppings

  • to taste bacon crumbles
  • to taste blue cheese crumbles
  • to taste chopped green onion

Instructions

  1. Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat.
  2. Add shredded rotisserie chicken, pepper, and garlic powder, cooking for 5 minutes until heated through.
  3. Pour hot sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
  4. Add cream cheese and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until melted and creamy.
  5. Stir in ranch dressing until fully incorporated.
  6. Add 1 oz. of grated sharp cheddar cheese and sour cream, stirring to combine.
  7. Add the final ounce of grated sharp cheese and stir again.
  8. Serve hot, optionally topped with bacon, blue cheese, and green onion.
