Ingredients

The chicken

  • 2 pounds chicken legs

The marinade

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the marinade ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Place the chicken legs in a large bowl and coat them with the marinade.
  4. Transfer the chicken legs onto the lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F.
  6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
