  4. Arrange the seasoned shrimp in the steamer basket or colander.
  5. Cover the pot with a lid and steam the shrimp for about 2 to 5 minutes, until they turn pink and opaque.
  6. Carefully remove the steamer basket and transfer the shrimp to a serving platter.
