Teriyaki Grilled Prawns

Ingredients

The prawns

  • 500 g Prawns/Shrimp

The marinade

  • cup Basic Teriyaki Sauce
  • ½ tbsp crushed garlic
  • ½ tbsp grated ginger

For garnish

  • to taste Shallots
  • to taste Lime

Instructions

  1. Wash and prepare the prawns.
  2. Combine teriyaki sauce, garlic, and ginger in a ziplock bag.
  3. Add the prawns to the bag, coat well, zip it, and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat and add the marinated prawns.
  5. Grill the prawns until browned.
  6. Remove the prawns and add the marinade to the pan.
  7. Cook the sauce for a few minutes until slightly reduced.
  8. Serve the prawns over rice and pour the teriyaki sauce on top.
