Ingredients

The oatmeal

  • ½ cup oats

The toppings

  • 1 unit banana
  • ½ tablespoon butter
  • a few spoonfuls brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fig preserves
  • to taste unit coconut for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the oatmeal according to your preference.
  2. Slice the bananas and combine them with the butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan, stirring over medium-high heat for a few minutes.
  3. Arrange the caramelized bananas on the oatmeal and drizzle any remaining caramel sauce over it.
  4. Mix the fig preserves with a few drops of water until it reaches a drizzling consistency, then drizzle over the oatmeal.
  5. Sprinkle coconut on top for garnish.
