Ingredients

The wings

  • 1 lb wingette
  • 2 inches ginger, skin peeled

The marinade

  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 pinch salt

Optional garnish

  • to taste lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Pound the ginger to extract the juice and marinate the chicken wings with the ginger juice and all the seasonings for 1-2 hours.
  2. Grill the chicken wings or bake them in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until cooked and golden brown.
  3. Serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.
