Homemade Tzatziki Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup grated cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • ΒΌ teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Instructions

  1. Grate the cucumber without peeling it.
  2. Squeeze out excess water from the grated cucumber using a kitchen towel or paper towels.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper.
  4. Chill the tzatziki sauce in the fridge until ready to serve.
