Panko Crusted Air Fryer Fried Pickles

Ingredients

The pickles

  • 1 small jar dill pickle chips

The coating

  • 1 8 oz box panko (Japanese bread crumbs)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • to taste sea salt
  • to taste fresh ground pepper
  • as needed avocado oil spray

The dipping sauce

  • ½ cup mayo
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 425°F.
  2. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick spray.
  3. Mix the eggs and milk in a bowl.
  4. Drain the pickles and add them to the egg/milk mixture.
  5. Place panko in a large ziplock bag, add the pickles, and shake to coat.
  6. Spread the pickles in a thin layer on the baking sheet and spray lightly with oil.
  7. Air fry for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. For the dipping sauce, combine mayo, pickle juice, and sriracha in a bowl.
