Ingredients

The pickles

  • 2 cups Dill Pickle Slices

The batter

  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1 large Egg
  • ½ cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Drain the pickles and pat them dry on both sides.
  2. Mix the flour and cornstarch in a small bowl and set aside.
  3. Whisk the egg in another bowl and set aside.
  4. In another bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Dip the pickles into the flour, then into the egg, and finally into the panko mixture.
  6. Place the coated pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry at 400° F for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown, optionally spritzing with oil halfway through.
  8. Serve hot with your choice of dip.
