Mexican Chorizo

Ingredients

Spices

  • 3 tbsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 ¼ tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 ½ tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 ½ tsp Dried coriander
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Cinnamon

Meat and Vegetables

  • 1 ½ lb Ground pork
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 small Onion (sliced thinly)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)

Other

  • 1 tbsp White vinegar

Instructions

  1. Mix all dry spices in a small bowl.
  2. Combine the ground pork with the spice mixture in a large bowl, mixing gently.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté garlic and onions until translucent.
  4. Add the spiced pork to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart until fully cooked.
  5. Stir in the vinegar and adjust salt to taste.
