Garlic Parmesan Fries

Ingredients

The fries

  • 1 3/4 lbs Yukon gold potatoes

The seasoning

  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3/4 cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the potatoes into fries about 1/3 inch thick.
  2. Soak the fries in a bowl of cold water for at least 20 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and grease the baking sheets.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the fries with olive oil, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  5. Transfer the fries to the baking sheets, leaving space between them.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, then flip and bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Allow the fries to cool for 2 minutes, and season with additional salt and pepper to taste before serving.
