Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet on medium-high heat until crisp, then remove and set aside.
- Optionally drain excess fat, leaving at least a teaspoon in the pan.
- Add chopped onions to the pan and sauté until translucent and fragrant.
- Stir in the okra, diced tomatoes, Creole seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the okra is soft.
- Add the cooked bacon back into the pan and stir to combine.
