Paleo Chai Spiced Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond butter
  • ¾ cup coconut sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tbsp coconut flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp cardamom
  • ¼ tsp cloves
  • ¼ tsp all spice
  • tsp nutmeg
  • a pinch sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix until creamy.
  3. Scoop tablespoon-sized dollops onto the baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  4. Sprinkle additional cinnamon and coconut sugar on top of the cookies.
  5. Bake for 11-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Allow cookies to cool completely before removing them from the parchment paper.
  7. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week.
