Ingredients

The Stir Fry

  • 1 pound flank steak, sliced into thin strips

  • 3 cups fresh or frozen mixed vegetables
  • sesame seeds, to garnish

The Stir Fry Sauce

  • ¼ cup soy sauce or liquid aminos
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar or sweetener
  • 2 teaspoons minced ginger

Instructions

  1. Combine the stir fry sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steak, salt, and pepper to the skillet, cooking until browned, then set aside.
  4. If needed, add more olive oil to the skillet and cook the vegetables until soft.
  5. Return the cooked steak to the skillet and add the stir fry sauce, stirring until well combined and heated through.
