Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8x8 square baking dish with parchment paper, greasing it first.
- Prepare the brownie layer by whisking together melted coconut oil and almond butter until smooth.
- Add the egg, vanilla, and coconut sugar, whisking until fully incorporated.
- Stir in almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and non-dairy milk until there are no clumps.
- Transfer the brownie batter to the baking dish and smooth it out.
- For the cookie layer, wash the mixing bowl or use a new one.
- Whisk together melted coconut oil and almond butter until smooth.
- Add the egg, vanilla, and coconut sugar, whisking until fully incorporated.
- Stir in almond flour, baking soda, and chocolate chips until there are no clumps.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on top of the brownie layer and smooth it out if needed.
- Bake for 24-26 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the brookies cool completely before slicing into 12 squares.
