Delicious Baked Tofu
Ingredients
The tofu

extra-firm or firm tofu
The marinade

soy sauce

maple syrup

toasted sesame oil

sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ยบ F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
- Combine soy sauce, maple syrup, and sesame oil in a bowl.
- Toss the tofu cubes in the marinade and let them sit for at least 15 minutes, ideally 1 hour.
- After marinating, remove the tofu from the marinade and arrange it evenly on the baking sheet, reserving the marinade.
- Bake the tofu for 30 minutes.
- Remove the tray from the oven, brush more marinade on top of the tofu, flip it, and repeat on the other side, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Return the tofu to the oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until crispy and browned.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
