Ingredients

The spinach

  • 16 oz fresh spinach

The sauté

  • T olive oil
  • 1 T minced garlic
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat a medium skillet over medium-low heat.
  2. Add olive oil and red pepper flakes, letting them infuse for about 1 minute while stirring.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
  4. Add fresh spinach and mix with the garlic and red pepper flakes.
  5. Cover and sauté for 5-7 minutes until the spinach is almost completely wilted.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste, stirring to combine all ingredients.
