Baby Back Ribs

Ingredients

The ribs

  • 1 slab Baby Back ribs (2 ½ pounds or more)
  • to taste none freshly ground black pepper

The seasoning

  • 2-3 tablespoons homemade steak seasoning (15-23 g)

The sauce

  • ½ – 1 cup barbecue sauce (115 – 230 g)

Instructions

  1. Remove the membrane from the backside of the ribs.
  2. Rub the ribs with the steak seasoning on both sides.
  3. Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and refrigerate for a couple of hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  5. Bake the ribs in the oven until tender, about 1 hour.
  6. Carefully unwrap the ribs and reserve any juices.
  7. Preheat the grill to medium-high.
  8. Grill the ribs for 5-10 minutes on each side, basting with barbecue sauce if desired, until charred.
  9. Cut between the ribs to separate and serve with more barbecue sauce.
