Ingredients

The Chicken

  • 4-5 lb. whole chicken

The Stuffing

  • 1 medium lemon
  • ½ bulb garlic
  • ¼ bunch parsley

Instructions

  1. Remove the chicken from its packaging and discard the giblets.
  2. Create a foil sling and place the chicken on it.
  3. Cut the lemon in half; stuff one half into the chicken's cavity along with garlic and parsley.
  4. Place the second half of the lemon face down in the slow cooker.
  5. Lift the chicken into the slow cooker using the foil sling and cook on high for four hours.
  6. After cooking, carefully remove the chicken and place it on a baking sheet.
  7. Broil the chicken until the skin is golden brown and crispy, about 5-10 minutes.
  8. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before serving.
