Instructions
- Remove the chicken from its packaging and discard the giblets.
- Create a foil sling and place the chicken on it.
- Cut the lemon in half; stuff one half into the chicken's cavity along with garlic and parsley.
- Place the second half of the lemon face down in the slow cooker.
- Lift the chicken into the slow cooker using the foil sling and cook on high for four hours.
- After cooking, carefully remove the chicken and place it on a baking sheet.
- Broil the chicken until the skin is golden brown and crispy, about 5-10 minutes.
- Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before serving.
