Instructions
- Cut the bread into thick slices.
- Mix together the eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and milk in a shallow dish.
- Dip the slices of bread into the egg mixture.
- Place the slices on a hot griddle and cook both sides until done.
- Serve with cinnamon syrup.
- For the syrup, whisk sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a saucepan.
- Add vanilla and water, and whisk until combined.
- Heat over medium for five minutes, whisking often.
- Remove from heat and whisk again.
- Serve syrup over French toast.
