Ingredients

The salad

  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, coarsely chopped
  • 2 cups tomatoes, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 cups Persian cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup radishes, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup parsley leaves
  • ½ cup mint leaves
  • cups pita chips

The dressing

  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sumac
  • ¾ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, red onion, parsley, and mint in a large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat.
  4. Add the pita chips and toss again.
  5. Serve immediately.
