Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the almond flour and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until medium peaks form, then fold them into the dry mixture along with the almond extract.
- Roll the dough into 12 balls, dip them in powdered sugar, and place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are lightly golden, optionally adding flaked almonds halfway through.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet and dust with more powdered sugar before serving.
