Simple Roasted Tomato Sauce

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 250°F.
- Place the tomatoes on a large baking sheet with a raised edge and add the garlic cloves.
- Drizzle the tomatoes and garlic with olive oil and mix to coat.
- Top with torn basil leaves and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 4 hours or until the tomatoes are soft and bursting.
- Allow the mixture to cool, then blend until desired consistency.
- Store in quart jars or freezer bags.
