Vanilla Roasted Walnuts

ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Heat a large cast iron skillet over high heat and add the walnuts and olive oil.
- Once you hear a sizzle, reduce the heat to medium or low.
- Toast the walnuts for a few minutes until they smell nutty.
- Add the agave nectar or honey and stir for a minute or two, then add the salt.
- Scrape the vanilla beans from the pods and mix them into the walnuts.
- Remove from heat and optionally sprinkle with ground cinnamon before serving.
