  4. Remove from the oven and chop or use as desired, or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
  5. Alternatively, for stovetop toasting, heat walnuts in a medium skillet over medium heat for about 2 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from the skillet and chop or use as desired, or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
