Ingredients

The nuts

  • 3 cups nuts

The coating

  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Heat a dry 12-inch cast iron skillet over low heat.
  3. In a small dish, combine the coconut sugar, sea salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Roast the nuts in the skillet, stirring every minute for about 12 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  5. Turn off the heat and add the sugar blend and water, stirring quickly to combine.
  6. Transfer the candy roasted nuts to the lined baking sheet to cool.
