Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and coat a donut pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, flax, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat together sugar, oil or melted butter, and egg until fluffy. Then mix in vanilla extract and milk.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed, then fold in the blueberries.
- Spoon or pipe the batter into the donut pan, ensuring the center hole remains open. Bake for 8-12 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool slightly, then whisk together powdered sugar, orange zest, juice, and cardamom for the glaze. Pour the glaze over each donut.
