Ingredients

The filling

  • 4 pieces apples, cored and thinly sliced
  • 2 cups blackberries
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp tapioca flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

The crumble topping

  • 1 cup blanched almond flour
  • ½ cup gluten free oats (optional)
  • cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a pie dish or oven-safe skillet with coconut oil.
  2. In the greased dish, combine all filling ingredients.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the crumble topping ingredients with a fork.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the fruit filling.
  5. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the apples and blackberries are soft but not mushy.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve warm.
