Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375ºF (190ºC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the dry ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Grate the cold butter into the bowl and toss to combine.
- Add the buttermilk and egg whites, and stir well to combine.
- Form the biscuits by either dropping the batter onto the parchment paper or using a greased measuring cup for a more uniform shape.
- Bake for 20-22 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool on the pan for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
- Let cool for at least 10-15 minutes before serving.
