Baked Flounder

Ingredients

The fish

  • 4 5-oz Flounder fillets

The seasoning and sauce

  • 1 tbsp Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and pat the fish fillets dry.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, olive oil, and lemon juice, then brush this mixture onto both sides of the fish.
  3. In another bowl, mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and season both sides of the fish with this mixture.
  4. Bake the fish for 12-15 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork or reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
