Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F and prepare a baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Soak the potato sticks in hot water for 10-30 minutes, then drain and dry them.
- Place the potato sticks in a Ziploc bag, add the oil, seal, and shake to coat.
- Add salt to the bag, seal, and shake again to distribute the salt.
- Spread the potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 5 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-25 minutes until golden.
- Flip the potatoes, rotate the pan, and continue baking for another 5-15 minutes until evenly golden.
- Season with additional salt if desired and serve warm.
