Ingredients

Alfredo Sauce

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • tsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • cup heavy cream
  • cup whole milk
  • 1 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Crust and Toppings

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • cups chopped rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 5 slices bacon
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • Tbsp chopped parsley or green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F and place a pizza stone in the center to heat for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, then cook flour for 30 seconds before adding garlic and cooking until fragrant.
  3. Whisk in heavy cream and milk, cooking until thickened, then stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  4. On a floured parchment sheet, shape the pizza dough into a 13-inch round, letting it rest for 10 minutes for a fluffier crust.
  5. Spread half of the white sauce over the dough, add shredded chicken, then pour the remaining sauce on top.
  6. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese and chopped bacon, then brush the outer crust with olive oil.
  7. Transfer to the pizza stone and bake for 12-14 minutes until the crust is golden.
  8. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with parsley, slice, and serve warm.
