Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and toast the panko breadcrumbs until golden brown.
- Mix the toasted panko with Parmesan and thyme in a bowl.
- Prepare the baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Set up a breading station with flour and beaten eggs in separate shallow dishes.
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then coat them in flour, dip in egg, and finally coat with the panko mixture.
- Place the coated chicken nuggets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Increase the oven temperature to 450°F and bake the nuggets for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve the chicken nuggets warm with dipping sauces if desired.
