Ingredients

The Chicken Nuggets

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • a pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
  • cooking spray for coating

The Honey Mustard

  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a baking sheet with a wire rack coated in cooking spray.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs mixed with Dijon mustard, and one with panko breadcrumbs. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then distribute the remaining seasonings into the bowls.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken into the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally the breadcrumbs, placing them on the wire rack.
  4. Spray the nuggets with cooking spray and bake for 13-16 minutes until cooked through and crispy.
  5. Whisk together Dijon and honey for the dipping sauce and serve with the chicken nuggets.
