Ingredients

The chicken

  • 2 pieces skinless and boneless chicken breasts
  • oil for pan-frying
  • 1 scallion chopped (for garnishing)

The sauce

  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 slices ginger (peeled)

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat a skillet and pan-fry the chicken until cooked through.
  2. 2. Allow the chicken to cool, then slice it into pieces.
  3. 3. Combine all sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until slightly thickened.
  4. 4. Discard the ginger slices from the sauce.
  5. 5. Drizzle the sauce over the sliced chicken and garnish with scallions.
  6. 6. Serve immediately with steamed rice.
