Ingredients

The base

  • ½ cup tahini
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • cup melted coconut oil
  • cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

The mix-ins

  • 2 cups sliced almonds
  • 2 cups large flake coconut shreds
  • 1 cup raw sunflower seeds, roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together tahini, maple syrup, coconut oil, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Add the sliced almonds, coconut shreds, and chopped sunflower seeds to the mixture and mix until evenly coated.
  4. Divide the mixture between the two baking sheets and spread it out, allowing for some clusters.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, tossing halfway through until slightly firm.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before storing in a sealed container.
