Grain-Free Granola
Ingredients
The granola mix

shelled raw sunflower seeds

The binding mixture

melted coconut oil

raw honey or pure maple syrup

pure almond extract
The dried fruits

chopped dried apricots

chopped dried cherries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the almonds, coconut, pecans, Brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut oil, honey, water, and almond extract, then add to the nut mixture and toss to coat.
- Spread the mixture on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Once golden brown, remove from the oven and stir in the dried apricots and cherries.
- Allow to cool for 15 minutes before serving and store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.
